Misty kicked ass this weekend at the show!
He took a Res Dog Challenge on Sat, beating a stunning older male which surprised the hell out of me.
And today he took out Dog Challenge, Best of Breed and the Jr in Group!!!!!! (yep, doing a happy dance right now) it was fantastic.
It's been awhile since I pulled off an in group award with my darling little boy and I was very shocked when we got it, I was sure a lovely Dobe was going to get it or at least the nice Sibe girl.
Misty's sister Star got the Jr in Group yesterday so it was great for us to get it today.
They are a great team these siblings and I look forward to our next shows.
Here are some pics:
Star
Neo
Misty (unable to get any stacked pics as I was the photographer this weekend)
Random pics of other dogs
Ryfrost Eat My Shorts, Bart
And a cute little Pointer pup called Flirt

Show Update, Evil Mist Strikes Again & Puppy Breath!
I'm lazy, there is no way around it.
I have had news to update but between work, showing and other various past times I don't seem to think about getting on here and actually writing anything down.
Lets see.
Well firstly Misty was at a show last weekend, another Bungendore show, and though he was actually well behaved, he got totally dumped by the judges, but hey, these things happen. Better luck next time.
Our friends did well however with their beautiful St Bernard baby Memphis, his very first show and he took Best Baby Puppy in Group!!!
Many photos were taken:
Cujo (owned by same people who have Memphis)
Cujo and my OH having hugs
And Strutting his stuff in the ring
My OH and his best friend, Grizzmuffley The Rapture aka Shogun
(this is possibly the nicest dog in the world, he has the best temperment and is an outstanding embassidor of the breed, he also took out Best in Show the weekend before)
And offcause the Samoyeds
Misty shows his distain for the others
But does behave eventually (sort of)
The always beautiful Neo, Icemist The King Maker, brother of Bundy, previously an addition to the blog. (No he's not dirty, but cream in colour, one of the few colours a Samoyed can be)
Check out his drive, amazing! (Misty can move like that, its just getting his lazy ass to do it which is the problem)
And offcause running into other friends we have to add a pic of the sweetest little Havanese, Magic, also mentioned here before, ain't he just the cutest?
So, in other news.
Misty got the worlds most expensive hug lastnight.
Little monster jumped up at 3 in the morning and started coughing very badly, unable to breath it was so violent and drinking was impossible. As he had been doing nothing but sleeping and it went on for so long we were very worried and rush him to the Emergancy Vet Clinic which is about half an hour away from us.
We get him in there and before we can see anyone we have to pay $160 (typical practise for this place which is why I hate having to go there) and then he sees the vet.
Do you think there is anything wrong with him???
No offcause not. There we are at 3.30 in the morning, half asleep and worried out of our minds and Mistral is perfectly fine. A suspected case of Kennel Cough and nothing more. I tell you I could have killed him.
So the vet decided we had to get something out of it all and proceeded to sit on the floor and give Misty a nice big hug, which offcause he loved.
So the worlds most expensive hug.
Gods this dog of mine can be a total ass sometimes. He is now being kept warm and quite, after having some honey which seems to have helped his throat.
And finally some wonderful news that I have been holding in for ages!
We are adding a new member to the mad house.
I wont go into details now as she will be home in two weeks and should get a post all of her own. But I will say she is a Samoyed, daughter of Bundy and Bella and the sweetest thing ever!
Her post will be coming soon, with heaps of photos.....
