Tarago Show
As much as it would give me great pleasure to announce that Mistral got some more points today I am dissapointed to say that he has not.
Once again beaten by other dogs, and there was some seriously stiff competition today, in fact the dog he was up against in class is the number one scoring dog on the DOL point score, so we didn't really have a snowballs chance in hell.
I am however very pleased to announce that although he was a little naughty in the first time he ran the second time he was very well behaved and really worked beautifully. At this stage that is good enough for me.
We did have a good day though, we shared out gazebo with a man who breeds and shows lovely Siberian Huskies, today we where pleased to have the company of Rodger, the red male and the lovely Bindi (next photo down), a light grey female. Both very attractive dogs, the girl Bindi doing quite well for herself.
Lestat was absolutly beside himself with joy at having two Sibes in the gazebo with him (his greatest love is Siberians and we suspect that he is secretly a Sibe, just hiding out in the skin of a Lab) and quickly started flirting with Bindi who was far more interested in the food we had rather then the smooth blond trying to get her attention.
Not exactly how I wished the day to go but all in all a good time was had by all and with any luck Mistral is getting into the swing of things again and will be even better next weekend when he take on Tumbarumba (say that 5 times fast) but he is going to have to be on his best behaviour as his breeder is coming with a few of his dogs and they are, as I have said and shown many times before, wonderful dogs.
